I am so sorry for your tears and sadness and for everything else you have been through. You are truly being tested but you are victorious! Your faith has not wavered and you continue to uplift many...including your sister who just does not understand..I have been hearing a song in my head this week playing over and over:
Tempted and tried, we’re oft made to wonder
Why it should be thus all the day long;
While there are others living about us,
Never molested, though in the wrong.

Farther along we’ll know more about it,
Farther along we’ll understand why;
Cheer up, my brother, live in the sunshine,
We’ll understand it all by and by.

Sometimes I wonder why I must suffer,
Go in the rain, the cold, and the snow,
When there are many living in comfort,
Giving no heed to all I can do.

Tempted and tried, how often we question
Why we must suffer year after year,
Being accused by those of our loved ones,
E’en though we’ve walked in God’s holy fear.

Often when death has taken our loved ones,
Leaving our home so lone and so drear,
Then do we wonder why others prosper,
Living so wicked year after year.
“Faithful till death,” saith our loving Master;
Short is our time to labor and wait;
Then will our toiling seem to be nothing,
When we shall pass the heavenly gate.
Soon we will see our dear, loving Savior,
Hear the last trumpet sound through the sky;
Then we will meet those gone on before us,
Then we shall know and understand why.

I love you two and will be there soon and can't wait to hug you both!

Rich & Robin,
What a blessing it was to read this blog today.You really encouraged me to hold onto God, to trust God to work in my situation, and I am hoping to encourage you to do the same. As the Psalmist said, "When my heart is faint; Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I (Psalms 61:2). When your resources are depleted...God has provided a refuge that's higher than your circumstances, a place where your under divine protection and the enemy has no jurisdiction. We serve a God that has No Limits. He gives us strength, protection, guidance,healing,...everything we need. I know that you both know that; however, I want to encourage you both, to hold onto the promises that He gave you. You are ministering to more people than you may even realize through your "Journey" blogs.God will give you the wisdom to make the right decisions. Having done all, stand. Once you have done all you can do, and the doctors...have done all they can do, then it is up to God to do only what He can do. We love you both, and will continue to pray for you.

Rich - your writing is powerful, brother. God is using you as you write - you are strengthening others as you walk through this dark valley.
The Lord is indeed with us - He will never leave us.
Sherilyn and I are praying for you and Robin.

Just wanted to say we are praying for you. Both of you! I can't even begin to imagine the emotional and physical turmoil you are going through...

Our youngest daughter, Catie, is attending Evangel University in Springfield now, and I am going to pass on your names to her so they can all pray. It's an awesome school, they have a time of prayer at the start of every class!

You're in our hearts and prayers!

Live by faith of the son of God, who loved me
and gave himself for me. Blessed is the man that trusteth the Lord and whose hope the Lord is. That being justified by his grace,
we should be made heirs according to the hope
of eternal life. Faith, trust and hope, he is our personal saviour. He does care and is really in control and only God can grant you about things to come. Believe with all your heart that you can trust him. Prays to both of you Judy
