Hello Rich & Robin!!

Good reports are awesome, as we give all praise to The Lord. I'm sure all of us, who read your reports, are inspired beyond words, when we here you both give praise, even after hearing what we consider a "bad" report. That's when the rubber meets the road of true worship and true faith. We don't know what the future holds but we do know that God is FOR us not against us and nothing can separate us from the love of God. We miss the ministry of your presence. May the prophesy of healing spoken over you by Greg Hood be realized by God's grace and mercy. There is still much for you both to do for God's kingdom. You have been anointed. Remember we miss and love you.

Hello, I may have written to you once before. I had Ovarian Cancer in July 07 with 6 cycles of chemo till November 20 07. Have been okay since. But I too have thyroid issues. So I take 37.5 mcg synthroid pill each am. Eliminate eating RAW Broccoli, cooked is ok. Be sure to not drink flouridated water, and really rinse well when you brush if using flouride toothpaste. Try not to eat any brominated flour breads. Drop using any Pillsbury products. I do take daily a 300 mcg of Iodine tablet, try to consume fish several times/wk. In the winter I make a daily hot salad using Napa Cabbage for lunch. I do take many other supplements aimed at nutritionally replenishing what ever I am low on or missing from diet. I was never a coffee drinker before, but recently after drinking tea regularly for past 4 years I now use the second go thru of my husband's espresso maker. I could not see the expense of coffee that was wasted by only brewing once when you can make a perfectly good second cup. LOL. Also recently started using a product by Rainbow Light called ThinBerryDiet for appetite control and metabolism boost for energy. Contains mostly Green Tea Extracts and GreenCoffeeBerry Extract and Artichoke Leaf. The AntiOxidants help to stave off effects of aging. The Caffiene is less than 1 cup of black tea. I know it is tough to decide not to use the chemo type of meds - but there are other ways to improve our chances of beating cancer cells, mostly related to diet. More veggies & fruits of course, less meats & breads. Pains that you are experiencing are miserable, and if caused by cancer are hard to eliminate, but I think you might still be able to lessen them by trying tablets of Turmeric and Boswellin. I hope you may use my ideas and suggestions. Perhaps they may help. However Resting In Jesus is the best medicine. Praising Him for all the good and the not so good. He has His Methods and Reasons. We do not have to know why just trust Him that it all turns out right throughout the process and in the end. I have been unemployed since June 3 2010 but we have husband's Mother living with us since '97 -she's now 91, needs to be supervised - so God knows what He was doing when He made my perfectly good job disappear. Bob has to make spontaneous business trips and I would not have been able to get time off nor someone else to watch her on spur of the moment. He Knows What We Need, but we need to ask for it anyway. So stay in Constant Contact with Him. Bless You...LD

Hi Rich and Robin -
My heart just goes out to you both in the battles you are facing. But I have to tell you your faith is incredible and an inspiration to everyone who reads your remarks. I am still praying for God's complete healing in both of your bodies. But we are all looking forward to the new one we'll be getting soon. Even so come Lord Jesus - again!
Have a very blessed Christmas filled with the presence of our wonderful Savior, Jesus.

Hi Guys!

We rejoice with you in the good reports!
I just had to laugh when God again, "confuses the wise". Especially doctors. :) They are good eggs, and have good intenetions, but our Great Physician had powers they will never possess! Prayer is our medicine, and we are sending LOTS your way! To God be the glory! Continue to rest in Him and enjoy His comfort and wise decisions for your life, as we know you do!

Lots of love,

I saw your name in the Southern Missouri District email for prayer sent to all pastors. Your story has truly touched my heart and I just want you both to know I will be praying for you as you journey through this season. I will be praying for complete healing, strength, and peace for you both and your family. May God bless you this season richly and overflowingly.

Good morning. I just received a note from our new District Super about you guys. I want you to know that Mary, my wife and I will be praying for you both each day. Mary has and is going through cancer treatments. God has been so good and as of now we are 18 months out. She is progressing very well. We live and pastor in Saint Louis. If we can ever be of service just call or e-mail. Our church has added you to our daily pray list as well. Be blessed and know you are loved.

Thanks for being so faithful to take the time and energy to keep us all updated. I write a blog every week thus know well the commitment it takes. Relationships require communication and you are certainly doing your part and I appreciate it. Heather edits and publishes my blogs so I hope that she makes them available to you to keep you up to date on the SA front. I am here in SA right now without my wife and miss her lots but still getting some good things accomplished. Really looking forward to having Heather and Josh join us here but at the same time know that it a difficult time for her to be leaving you side. I assure you that I and God will take good care of them. I encourage you to stay close to the Lord as Job did during these difficult times. Incredibly good things will be your reward at the end of this dark tunnel.
