I read this and have it by my computer. Dont worry about anything. Instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank
him for all that he has done. Faith(knowing Jesus is who he is, Trust(believing with all your heart you can trust him, Hope(only God can grant hope about the things to come, even your place he has prepared in Heaven for all true believers. Bless you both JT

Richard-I was touched by your very honest and open blog. Yes, God is able. You are right to feel closed in. God knows we frail humans, made from dust and yes there is a reality that must be walked out in faith. "Yeah though I walk the the valley with the shadow of death over me, I fear no evil, no enemy."

Whatever God's timing of healing is - I know that my mother will be there rejoicing as one more saint comes home in God's perfect plan. Jeremiah 29:11.

Continuing to pray for you both.

Still standing with you guys as you face your enemy. God is STILL bigger than anything you or I face and HE has the answers! Love you guys and appreciate your attitude in the face of adversity. You have been and continue to be a source of encouragement to all of us who, in comparison to what you guys are facing, have it way too easy........ still praying for you! :-))

Rich & Robin,
I am sitting here in tears as I type this. My Aunt Iva and Uncle Art felt the exact same way that you are feeling now. My aunt had been fighting "Cancer" for over five years. It originated in her breast, and traveled throughout her body...esophagus, liver, and then finally her brain. I remember my uncle having to choose whether to put her through another surgery, knowing that she would not make it , or take her home with the understanding that she would most likely live only another three days, if that. My uncle looked at the oncologist and said, "Your asking me to chooses whether I want to lose my wife today, or in three days? I do not want to loses her at all...she is the love of my life...we have been married longer than we have been single...I can't make this choice". Then my aunt looked at him with tears in her eyes and a smile on her face, and said, "Lovey, whether I am healed here on this earth or when I get to my new home in Heaven, I am healed...let's go home". The difference is, my Aunt Iva knew the Lord as her personal Savior, my Uncle did not. It's okay and understandable to get angry about what your going through...and do know that we continue to lift you both up in prayer, and we would both love to hear that you are "Cancer Free"as well...the decisions that you have to make, I know are not easy...however, remember you are not alone, God is holding onto you both. When our faith is low and our fear high, we cry, "If only...It's not over until He says it's over. And He hasn't" (Mathew 14:24; 2 Co 5:7; Heb 7:25; Ro 8:26).

My heart is heavy for both of you and all that you have endured and what you may be enduring in the future. I continue to lift you both up in prayer. You are such a testimony to others of never losing your faith in God. Praying for a miracle for Robin and for you.

Rich & Robin,
Your strength in times of weakness is so amazing. Even when things aren't looking so good for you, you manage to rise above it and praise God all the more! You both are an inspiration to me. Thank you!

Rich & Robin,
It is wonderful to hear that you are still ministering to others while enduring battles yourself...However, if you get to the place where you feel like you can't continue, read the words to this song. Perhaps you have heard it before.

verse 1:
You might be looking failure in the eye. You're sure you wanna give up, you've lost the will to try. Everything you planned has come apart. You're through with starting over, you're running out of heart.

God's not through with you, He's got a work that only you can do...don't fall for Satan's lies, God's hands still on your life...Oh no, God's not through with you.

Verse 2:
I'm here to say that God believes in you. It doesn't matter what you've done, Jesus died for you. So, give it all and don't hold back a thing. You might be surprised at the good that God can bring.

(Repeat Chorus)

* This song was made popular by Mike & Kelly Bowling.

I guess what I am trying to say is, "May you continue to realize that God's not through with you". You and Robin are reaching more people for God than you realize...many of whom you have never met yet. How? By sharing your life's journey. See, the fact that you are both battling cancer and still trusting God is a testimony in and of itself. Many would have gotten angry at God, and blamed Him...some have never even heard of God's love...and I could go on and on. If you look back at where God has brought you from, and what He has brought you through, one can't help but say, "Oh What a Saviour".
Dave & I continue to pray for both of you & are looking forward to hearing more about your journey with God ,here on this earth, that we are just passing through. After all, our home is in Heaven.
